Robust systems of belonging and well-being

Goal 1:

  • ✅ By October 2024, school wide PBIS expectations will be posted, taught proactively and a plan for student recognition for their positive decision making will be created.

  • ✅ By January 2025, staff will receive training on how to embed State Social Emotional Learning standards (SEL) and connected Work Readiness Standards, into their content.

  • By January 2025, we will strengthen I-teams with specific Tier 2 and 3 options district wide.

Goal 2:

  • By 2025 we will develop a more substantive understanding of and a better relationship with the community resources we interface with (health/wellness; mental health; physical health; etc.).

  • By 2025 a landing page for families and staff will be developed to share resources and connect community partners for student wellness.

Goal 3:

  • By 2025, each secondary student will have a trusted adult and activity, sport or interest listed in Synergy (or other program for ease of access for staff connection).

  • By 2025, we will utilize (and create multiple opportunities) for student voices and student ideas to drive efforts in this strategic plan area at both the primary and secondary level.
