Goal 1:

✅ By October 2024, a calendar for touchpoints for students interacting with Naviance will be created.
By June 2025 a 6 (+ 2 year) Plan template will be created and adopted/used in our schools.
Goal 2:
By February 2025, all teachers K-12 will learn about the 16 Career Related Learning areas and identify at least two connections they could make with their class content.
By May 2025, at least half of secondary teaching staff will create two experiences/assignments over the course of the year which includes a Career Related Learning connection area of interest from Naviance.
Goal 3:
By June 2025, we will expand partnership in the community by 15% in order to create access to job shadows, internships, professional speakers (also in academic classes), etc.
By March 2025, family one-pagers will be created and shared with all secondary families. The focus of materials will be about career options (with or without college) and pathways including community college, technical education, workforce, four year college, military, internships etc.
Meeting with Naviance staff to ensure we are utilizing all the program tools
Counselor 1:1 meetings with students at high school this fall
Touchpoints for students via Naviance program worked on through the Higher Education and Career Planning workgroup.
College and Career team lead is creating a 6 year plan template to be used in all our schools with the goal to have it embedded in Naviance and used in forecasting
Instructional Learning Teams have been introduced to the 16 career related learning areas and school buildings have PD scheduled before February 2025.
In an effort to expand our partnership with the community to create access to job shadows, internships, professional speakers, as well as academic classes and more, we have created a tracking sheet to share among all schools.
Family one-pagers about career options and pathways that will be shared with all secondary families are in the initial draft phase and will be shared with Instructional Leadership Teams in December.
